Cerddorion Vocal Ensemble will perform works that explore the depth and volatility of human passion in its FITFUL FLAME – MUSIC OF LOVE & WAR Concert Series, including madrigals by Carlo Gesualdo and Thomas Tomkins; Clément Janequin’s La Guerre; and Jeffrey Van’s setting of four Civil War poems by Walt Whitman, A Procession Winding Around Me, for chorus and guitar.
